I have been using the age bright clearing serum for 2 to 3 years now obsessed with it love it so much. I am just turning 31 and I’m trying to be proactive for signs of aging. My skin is so used to the age bright clearing serum that I’m worried about adding a retinol, but I do want the effects of retinol. How do you suggest I introduce this ? Should I completely replace age bright with the retinol one? What about retinol during day in sun can cause irritation correct? Current regiment is double cleansing, acne, clearing, face wash, age, bright serum, moisture, balanced, moisturizer, all Dermalogica products oh course! Been thinking about making the switch for a while, but my skin could be a little sensitive so I just worry because it took me so long to find a regiment that works for me, but I wanna fight signs of aging now. Any suggestions?

Will I be able to use the Age Bright Clearing Serum in the morning and the Retinol Clearing Oil in the night or is that to many actives?

However, please note that we generally don’t recommend layering more than one serum at a time. Active ingredients perform best when they have direct access to the skin, and some serum formulations may create a barrier, which could prevent another serum from fully absorbing. As you introduce these products into your skincare routine, you might also consider starting with these products 2-3 times per week, allowing your skin to adjust to the active ingredients before transitioning to daily use.
