ultracalming™

Treat the multiple triggers behind inflammation for lasting relief from sensitivity flare-ups.

Itching, burning, stinging and redness are the obvious signs of sensitive skin. The triggers behind these sensations are less clear: genetics, hormones, stress, chemical assaults, foods and even aggressive skin treatments can intensify skin’s highly reactive state. The common thread behind irritation, flushing and stinging is inflammation. When paired with the loss of skin’s protective barrier, skin health is compromised and becomes highly reactive.

how it works

UltraCalming™ contains UltraCalming™ Complex, our exclusive complex clinically proven to control neurogenic and immunogenic inflammatory pathways that lead to skin sensitivity.

Comments about ultra sensitive tint spf30:

I like the coverage of it, but when I wore it daily it made me break out. It's too bad since it was costly...

Lasts Forever

By

from Hawaii

Comments about ultra sensitive tint spf30:

I use this product daily after applying a matte lotion. It evens out my skin tone, provides sun protection, and is easy to apply. My face does get a little shiny with this product, so I added a matte lotion to my routine first.

Made my face too shiny

By

from Massachusetts

Verified Buyer

Comments about ultra sensitive tint spf30:

I love the coverage and how it doesn't irritate my skin, but it was pretty thick and made me feel greasy and shiny. Since I ordered it from the website and used it, unfortunately I can't return it. I'll hang on to it and see if it feels better in the winter when my skin is less oily. I would definitely recommend it for dry, sensitive skin.

Comments about ultra sensitive tint spf30:

I got a terrible outbreak on my nose when I started using this. Could be coincidental. I used it again after the outbreak and so far no repeat outbreaks. I like it enough to hope and try!

Waste of money

By

from Pennsylvania

Comments about ultra sensitive tint spf30:

I just bought sheer tint from ultra. I like the color and how it evens out my skin tone. When I washed it off felt like my face had a sunburn and looke red and irritated. I thought maybe I dried it to hard. Put it on again just to see if it was a fluke. Second time red, irritated and bums appeared. I don't wear make up usually, but because of my age, I just wanted some light coverage. Spent over $50.00 for product. I would not recommend this product!

Great for days you don't want to wear makeup. Evens out skin tone for slight discoloration. I wish it was a little thinner but overall great product.

      A:

      Hello Jeri,

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. After completing Gluten Analysis testing on all of our wheat containing products the conclusion is that only one is suggested to be avoided by a gluten intolerant or Celiac. This is Extra Firming Booster.

  • Q:

Does this product compare in color and texture to the Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture SPF 20, Medium ....color? That is the product I usually use, and I'm very happy with it, but I do have sensitive skin and was willing to give this a try if similar in scope. If it's "muddy" or "thick" it wouldn't be for me... any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

      Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 is shade almost in between Sheer Tint Light and Sheer Tint Medium. I use it and personally really like it. A little does a long way.

  • Q:

How dark is the tint in the ultra sensitive tint spf 30? Is it ok for acne prone skin?
Asked on 9/6/2013 by Bert from Brisbane QLD, Australia

    7 answers

    • A:

This is a light tint and has just enough color to even skin tone. I am very fair and I find it gives me a natural glow without looking like I have on "make-up" the way foundation might look. I am not sure if it is okay for acne prone skin. I have dry skin. However, it is not greasy or heavy so it might be worth a try.

My skin has a slight olive tone and this wasn't too dark for me. It was however rather pink / reddish and oily. On the plus side it's sheer.
